This Drakensberg accommodation option is one
of those smaller places with a total of just
7 seven double bedrooms.
Each of the rooms at the Antbear is
differently decorated with uniquely eccentric
and artistic wooden furniture. We offer an
ensuite double or a luxury suite or a luxury
cave. All our rooms are comfortable
and have the standard features you expect like
fireplaces, hair dryers, tea and coffee trays,
a complimentary caraf of cherry and a mini
fridge. The luxury suites have jacuzzi baths
and private lounges.
Room 1 - Luxury Suite

A spacious lounge, large bedroom with a king
size bed ensuite bathroom and a loft with a
double bed. The spacious private lounge has
a wood burning fireplace and the bedroom has
panel heaters. The bathroom has a jacuzzi spa
bath and seperate shower. The upstairs
loft which is great for an extra person or
if you want your children to be in the same
unit.
Room 2 - Luxury Suite

What makes this luxury suite special is its
spaciousness. It has its
own private lounge with a fire place. The bedroom
has a a king
size double bed and the room opens ont a small
veranda with a view to die for. The bathroom
is ensuite and has a jacuzzi spa bath too.
There is also an upstairs loft with 2 single
beds which is ideal if you have 2 children.
Room 3 - Ensuite double

This ensuite double even has a jacuzzi bath.
The lounge is part of the bedroom and contains
an open wood burning fireplace. With a small
loft above the bedroom with a dressing table
and lovely view of the weaver bird nests in
the Jacaranda tree.
Room 4 - Luxury Suite

This luxury has a queen size double bed with
an own longe awith a fireplace and a spacious
ensuite bathroom. Its a real sun trap with
a lovely little veranda to sit and watch the
sun set. The bathroom includes has a jacuzzi
spa bath.
Room 5 - Ensuite Double

This room has an ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi
spa bath and fire and a fire place in the
bedroom. Of course every detail has been attended
to with a slant towards arty and unique. Just
lay in the queen size bed and look out as the
sun rises onto the whole high Drakensberg.
A spectical of colour unsurpassed. That is
if you wake up early enough.

onto the garden.
Room 7 - See more of the Luxury
Cave

This unique cave is an accommodation unit
that consists of a tastefully decorated en-suite
bedroom with a Jacuzzi spa bath adjoining a
lounge with open fireplace. Glass doors open
on to a deck with an uninterrupted panoramic
view of more than 180 degrees from Giants Castle
right through to the Amphitheatre and including
the rolling foothills of the Bushman’s
River Valley.
The Lodge

Our home and guesthouse lies in the middle
of a network of dirt roads where the traditional
way of life is, for the time being, preserved.
A place where your soul can find peace and spirit
become recharged. That rustic country feeling
has been kept without losing any comfort. Candles
are used extensively for atmosphere, as are
the fireplaces.
The Views

And the views are to die for. We encourage
guests to go for walks right here, and picnic
baskets can be arranged for a light lunch on
the hill. Of course there is plenty to do in
the area but if you want to lie back and chill
thats's a great option too. |
